Last weekend I went to visit my parents (and their cat and dog) and I’ve been drawing heaps of friendly pets since then. Here’s a selection:
My parents’ pets are in a love-scratch relationship (the dog loves the cat and the cat scratches the dog in its big drooling face).
I drew these beasts individually on paper and then gave them a bit of digital editing (and put them together two and two).
Trying to play ladder with my priest after the Witchwood expansion (and losing a lot) so I drew this:
I’m having a lot of fun though!
Sorry if this is absolute nonsense to non-Hearthstone players 😀
There are ramsons everywhere around the city right now, and it’s so nice with something green to look at outside (before the garlic smell takes over later in Spring).
Btw I had to look up what these plants are called in English, because I only knew the Danish term “ramsløg” – (rams onions). I of course ended up reading about the etymology of the word, because linguistics!
I’m digging the digital at the moment, so I drew this in Illustrator with my Wacom drawing tablet.
Throwback to biking around icy Copenhagen a month ago with this guy:

I only slipped once in the snow while cycling and managed to jump off my bike and throw it aside – and LAND ON MY FEET! The rest of the trip was peaceful yet cold (but there were croissants).
The weather is starting to look a bit like Spring, and I can’t wait for a season with lots of biking. And hopefully no falling, since I’ve probably used up all my luck that one time landing ON. MY. FEET.
I’m mainly spending this Easter weekend indoors with coffee, cookies and Hearthstone. And not in a field with fluffy bunnies, unfortunately. But drawing them is almost as good.

Easter break = time to get some colours on the blog. I have a bunch of small narcissus flowers in my apartment that inspired me to draw some spring flowers.

I like my black line art, but I feel the need to use more colours in my drawings as well – maybe it’s a sign of Spring (even though it’s snowing and freezing cold outside my window).
Today I learned 2 things.
1) Small dogs can pee with their legs floating in the air (at least that one small dog that I saw).
2) A computer looks like an octopus on the inside.
Looking forward to a week off work starting today – with loads of time for more silly doodles.
I spotted a great piece of knit/ crochet street art on the way to visit my parents yesterday. Of course I had to draw a doodle:
The original bunny – hanging happily by the ears:
It just makes me so happy that someone made this bunny and put it up in in this really boring spot next to the busy road.
It’s still hat season in Denmark, which means – hat hair. Fortunately, the weather’s also perfect for gif-making.
