Thunder coffee:

In Denmark there’s something called “thunder coffee” which to me means brewing strong coffee in the middle of the night while you wait for a thunderstorm to pass.

Update after a quick search online:

Supposedly the compound word “tordenkaffe” (thunder coffee) originated because people in rural areas would drink coffee to stay awake during a thunderstorm if a lightning would strike. I wonder if it exists in other languages? It doesn’t seem to be a thing in English, at least not as far as I could (quickly) Google.

I’m not a fan of thunder and lightning, but I’m quite happy that we’re getting into proper autumn weather in Denmark at the moment with lower temperatures and rain.

Wow, this last week of Inktober is turning out to be the most challenging bit! I really want to finish, but I’m having a hard time finding inspiration for something fun to draw these days. Hopefully the next couple of days will be better.
